a family production company.
JOANNA
SOKOLOWSKI
JOANNA SOKOLWSKI is an Emmy award-winning filmmaker and producer. You can listen to her work on the Spotify original podcast "An Oral History of the Office". Or watch her films: "Artist and Mother"and "City Rising", and "Ovarian Psycos". You can see more of her documentary work with Sylvia Frances Films. She has produced for Netflix, Spotify, independently, and commercially.
Mostly: she just loves a good story.

Michael Raines is a photographer, cinematographer and director. His music videos have premiered on NPR and NOWNESS and Pitchfork. His corporate video clients include TED, Verizon Wireless, General Electric, Google, Apple, Hewlett Packard, The AIP Group, Mastercard and JCPENNEY. He co-owns
No-nonsense Films with Alan Del Rio Ortiz. As a photographer he has been published in LA Times, LA Weekly, Nighted Life, Fotofilmic and Hamburger Eyes.
He too loves a good story but one that’s photographed well.
